Can StreamVG play any URL?

It accepts a broad range of web URLs and attempts direct media detection, page extraction, embeds and supported extractor-based discovery. A URL can still fail when media is unavailable to the server or browser, requires authentication, uses DRM, or is protected by a site-specific mechanism.

Does it create 4K video?

No. StreamVG can play a 4K rendition when the source provides one. It cannot turn a lower-resolution source into genuine 4K.

Why use the CORS proxy?

Some browsers block direct cross-origin media requests. The optional proxy can relay supported media and rewrite HLS playlists. It does not defeat DRM or access controls.

Can I use local files?

Yes. Local playback uses a browser object URL and does not upload the selected file to StreamVG.
